Milford Lawmaker Selected as Emerging Leader
State Rep Pam Staneski was named an Emerging Leader by the State Legislative Leader's Foundation.

HARTFORD- State Representative Pam Staneski (R-119) joined 50 legislators from 44 states at the 2016 Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia that took place from July 11 − 14.
Representative Staneski was selected as an Emerging Leader by the State Legislative Leader’s Foundation. House Republican Leader Themis Klarides nominated her for the program.

The program involved a variety of presentations from leading political leaders were combined with cutting-edge leadership concepts from world-renowned faculty.
Rep. Staneski said, “I want to thank our House Republican Leader Themis Klarides, for this opportunity. This was an intense program that gave me an opportunity to interact with legislators from around the country who brought different perspectives to the same challenges we see in Connecticut.”

The Emerging Leaders Program is designed to enhance the leadership potential and vision of policy makers who are likely to be at the helm of tomorrow’s legislatures. It is a collaborative effort of the State Legislative Leaders Foundation and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Administration and is made possible by grants from Advance America, Altria Client Services, Comcast, Entertainment Software Association and Walmart.
