Milford Man Left 3 Kids Unattended In Parked Car: Police
A man was arrested after he left three children under the age of 12 unsupervised while grocery shopping on Friday, Milford police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford man has been arrested after he left three children under the age of 12 unattended in a car, Milford police said.
On Friday at around 9:04 a.m., Milford police responded to the ShopRite at 935 Boston Post Road on a report of juveniles left unattended in a vehicle in the parking lot.
Police said an investigation led to the arrest of William Lavery, 68, of Milford, who is accused of leaving three children under 12 years old unsupervised while he was grocery shopping.

Lavery was released on a promise to appear in court, and he has a court date scheduled for Feb. 14.
