Milford Police: Man Arrested for Physically Fighting with Ex-Girlfriend

Milford police said they responded to a woodmont road hotel after receiving a complaint of domestic violence that had just occurred.

Investigation led to the arrest of Jose Ortiz, 30, of Milford, on July 9 at around 3:30 p.m.

He is accused of engaging in a physical fight with an ex-girlfriend outside the hotel room, police say.

Ortiz is charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault, police say.

He was released on a petition to appear in superior court on July 10, police say.
