Milford Police: Man Arrested for Strangling Girlfriend and Threatening Her Life
Police said the man has been held in lieu of a $50,000 bond after the incident that occurred early Friday morning.

Milford police said they responded to a report of domestic violence at a Sand Street address July 17 at around 2:35 a.m.
Investigation led to the arrest of Paul Russell, 33, of Sand Street, police said.
He is accused of strangling his girlfriend, verbally threatening to kill her and not allowing her to leave the room, police said.

Russell is charged with strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint, threatening and disorderly conduct, police said.
He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
