Woman Fled Scene of Accident: Milford Police

Milford police say they arrested Dana Awker, 53, of Stratford, on an active warrant July 16 at around 8:15 a.m.

She is accused of leaving the scene of a car accident without exchanging information with the other driver, according to police.

Awker is charged with evading responsibility, following too closely, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and insufficient motor vehicle insurance.

She was released on a promise to appear in Milford Superior Court on Aug. 13.
