Milford Police: Stratford Woman Accused of Smashing a Glass Bottle Into Someone's Car Windshield in Milford

Melissa Drinkwater, 32, of Stratford, was arrested by Milford Police on an active arrest warrant July 18 at around 5:25 p.m., police say.

She is accused of slapping the victim, an acquaintance of the accused, in the face and then smashing a glass bottle on the victim’s car windshield back on March 16, police say.

Drinkwater is charged with second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of the peace, police say.

She was released on a petition to appear in Superior Court on Aug. 11, police say.
