Milford Resident Allegedly Struck Pregnant Woman

A 35-year-old Milford resident was arrested Saturday for allegedly striking a woman who was nine months pregnant.
Penelope Porteous of Naugatuck Avenue was charged with second-degree assault of a pregnant person and second-degree breach of peace.

The incident happened in the roadway on Naugatuck Avenue at around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Porteous was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 27.
