Milford's Annual Leaf Pickup Program To Start: What You Need To Know
As in the past years, only leaves placed in paper bags, which are biodegradable and can be mixed with composted material, will be collected.

MILFORD, CT — From Monday, Nov. 27, through Wednesday, Dec. 20, Milford will pick up leaves in paper bags during the Leaf Pickup Program.
As in the past years, only leaves placed in paper bags, which are biodegradable and can be mixed with composted material, will be collected. City crews will not accept plastic bags; if leaves are put out in plastic, they will be left curbside.
Leaves in paper bags should be left at the curb, away from regular weekly garbage and recycling bins.
