Bike Passport Program A Great Way To Tour Milford
After receiving the passport, head to participating businesses and get it stamped. Each stamp equals one entry into the raffle.
MILFORD, CT — As National Bike Month starts, the city of Milford is celebrating through its Bike Milford Passport Program.
City officials said Milford’s Bike Passport Program runs the entire month of May and is a great way to tour the city of Milford.
Those who want to participate in the program can pick up a passport card from any participating business or the recreation department.

Participating businesses include CappuGino’s Coffee, Good Morning Cupcake, Touchdown Nutrition, Scratch Baking, Walnut Beach Coffee House, Nate’s Plates, Cafe Atlantique, Cone Zone, Sprout Juice and Tony’s Bikes.
After receiving the passport, bike to the businesses on the back of the card and get the passport stamped. Each stamp equals one entry into the raffle.

Hand in the passport during the May 28 Bike Rodeo, drop it off in the recreation office, or send a photo of the passport to bcarlson@milfordct.gov.
City officials released important dates to keep in mind during National Bike Month in Milford.
May 7, National Ride a Bike Day. Spend the first Sunday of every Bike Month rediscovering the joy of riding a bike.
May 13, helmet checks and discount. Stop by Tony’s Bike Shop for a professional, free helmet check and 10 percent off new helmets during the Artisan Market on Milford Green.
May 19, Bike to Work Day. Join city officials, Milford Police, friends and family as they ride their bikes to work.
May 28 is the bike rodeo event. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fowler Rotary Pavilion, the Milford Police Department is hosting a Bike Rodeo with a bike safety check, riding in large circles obstacle cone course and more. In addition, Tony’s Bikes and REI members will also be set up to answer questions and play games.
