New Lease Agreement Announced For Downtown Milford

MILFORD, CT — A long-term lease has been struck that will bring a third Edward D. Jones & Co. L.P. office to Milford, according to Barbara L. Pearce, Chair and CEO of Pearce Real Estate.

John Bergin, who is the listing agent for several office spaces at 247 Broad Street along the Milford Green, one of which will be the new office of Christopher Durkin, a financial advisor for Edward Jones.

The 1,711-square-foot office is currently being renovated to accommodate the needs of the financial services firm, officials said. Durkin anticipates an early June opening. Edward Jones joins other professional services housed within the building, as well as medical and therapeutic offices.

In negotiating the long-term lease, Bergin represented the owner of the building, Diving Rock Partners, LLC. The tenant was represented by T.R. Durkin of William Raveis Real Estate in Shelton.
