New Restaurant Opens In Downtown Milford: Report
The restaurant offers seating both inside and outside.

MILFORD, CT — A new downtown restaurant, Flames Mediterranean and American Grill, officially opened on Daniel Street, the Milford Mirror reports. The owner, Walied Hanaif, of Ansonia, told the Mirror that the restaurant specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine including falafels and shawarma.
There is seating inside and outside. Flames Mediterranean & American Grill posted earlier this month on social media, "We're getting close to serving you the best Mediterranean and American food favorites! Soon, join us at 12 Daniel Street, Milford CT."
The site is where Collected Stories Bookstore was located for several years. On Flames' Facebook page it says it is "a lively and upbeat restaurant located in the heart of downtown Milford, Connecticut."
