Obituary: Anne Elise Black, 80, of Milford
Anne was known as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Anne Elise Black, 80, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Raymond D. Black Sr., passed away on September 29, 2021. Born on May 6, 1941 in Boston, MA.
Anne obtained her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Sacred Heart University after years of dedicated hard work. She was a wonderful person, friend, wife, mother and grandmother, who found joy in watching her favorite TV shows at home, trips to the casino and a glass of wine.
Anne is survived by her children, Raymond D. Black, Jr. and Leigh Anne (Black) Tompsen; her grandchildren, Raymond D. Black, III, Annemarie Nicole Tompsen, Sarah Jo Black, and Ryne Scott Tompsen; her sister, Helen Abbott; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and her cat, Ingovar.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
