Obituary: Barbara Louise Scianna, 82, of Milford
Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
MILFORD, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Barbara Louise Scianna, age 82, beloved wife of 55 years to Louis “Chick” Scianna of Milford, entered peaceful rest on September 23, 2021.
Barbara was born on July 13, 1939 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Charles and Aileen (Cahill) Blake. She and her husband are the owners of Kurt Lee Products in Oxford.
In addition to her devoted husband, Barbara leaves her loving children, William Garnett (Andrea), Michael Garnett (Debra) all of Milford, Lee Scianna of Derby and eight grandchildren.
She also leaves her brothers and sisters, John Blake (Cheryl), Michael Blake, all of Milford, Elizabeth Ruff of Glastonbury, Kathleen Casey (Michael) of NM, Aileen Meaney of TN, Wesley Thornhill of FLA, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Butch, William, Charles, and her son, Kurt Scianna.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 30th at 10:30 a.m. (DIRECTLY) at Saint Gabriel Church (St. Raphael Parish) 26 Broadway, Milford.
