Obituary: Colleen A. Kanel, 77, of Milford
Colleen, always remembered for her compassion, generosity and serenity, was a loving wife, mother and proud grandmother.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Colleen A. Kanel, 77, of Milford, CT, loving wife of Charles J. Kanel, Jr. for 61 years, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 23, 2021.
In addition to her husband, Charles, Colleen is survived by her daughters, Deborah Whelan, Marie Cataldi and Jacqui Marshall and her son, Charles J. Kanel III.
She was a loving wife, mother and a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Colleen was an accomplished gardener and loved to quilt with her fellow senior friends at the Milford Senior Center.
Colleen will be remembered for her compassion, generosity and serenity.
She had a smile for everyone and her generosity knew no bounds.
Colleen was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
