Obituary: Donald R. Vincelette, 74, of Milford
Donald, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, was a proud U.S. Marine, before working many years at the VA Hospital in West Haven.
MILFORD, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Donald R. Vincelette, age 74, of Milford, beloved husband of Linda Arendarczyk Vincelette for 53 Years, died on Sunday, January 30, 2022 surrounded by his family.
Donald was born in New Haven on November 9,1947 to the late Rene and Elmira Cossette Vincelette.
Donald was a U.S. Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran who was wounded in action. Donald was proud to be a veteran and worked at the VA Hospital for many years in West Haven.
Survivors include his daughter, Denise Van Hise of Milford, sister, Louise Rapacciuolo of Milford, sisters-in-law, Joan George of Milford and Carol Vincelette of Hanford, CA, and three grandchildren, James, Jenna and Jackson Van Hise and several nieces, a nephew and great nieces and nephews.
Donald is predeceased by his son-in-law, Trevor Van Hise and brother, Joseph "Mike" Vincelette.
Friends and family are invited to meet directly at the mausoleum in Mount Saint Peter's Cemetery, Derby at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 with full military honors being rendered. There will be no calling hours.
