Obituary: Donna Jean Fisher, 78, of Milford

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Donna Jean Fisher, 78, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Frederick Fisher passed away on February 8, 2022.

Born on October 16, 1943 in Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Dale.

Donna was full of laughs, love and spirit. She loved her family dearly and was the best cook around. Donna found joy in cooking for everyone and simply loved just being with her family.

She made sure anyone who ever came to visit her always left with some blueberry muffins.

She enjoyed reading, watching QVC and had a soft spot for all animals. Any animal that needed a home always found its way to Donna’s.

Donna is survived by her son Mark of Milford; her granddaughters, Amy (Andrew) and Kayla (Hector); her great granddaughter, Avery; her siblings, Gerry, Bill, Steven, and Fred; and her many nieces and nephews.

Also, to cherish her memory, is her dear and loyal friend, Lynne Raslavsky.

Donna was predeceased by her beloved son, Randy. We will all miss her terribly but find some comfort in knowing she is with her husband and son again.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any animal shelter or the American Cancer Society.
