Obituary: Edward Woolridge, 74, Of Milford

Edward William Wooldridge, age 74, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Deborah Ann (Perrelli) Wooldridge, entered peaceful rest on January 19, 2023 with his family by his side.

He was born on October 5, 1948 in Worcester, MA to the late Ernest and Dorothy (Godfery) Wooldridge. He was a proud U. S. Marine Corp. veteran and served during the Vietnam War. Ed worked for the US Postal Service in New Haven for many years before his retirement. Ed enjoyed playing poker with the guys and spending time with his family.

Ed is survived by his sons, Michael Wooldridge of Milford, Nicholas Wooldridge and his wife, Enixza Orozco of Milford and Edward Wooldridge and his wife, Christy of Orange and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Ernie Wooldridge of MA and his sister, Patty Murphy of CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish) 70 Gulf Street, Milford. Military Honors will be held at the close of the mass. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 22nd from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the GREGORY F.
