Leaf Bag Collection Update Released For Milford

MILFORD, CT — The city has released a leaf bag collection update, extending the pickup period due to weather and the volume of bags still curbside.

Milford Public Works posted the following on Facebook:

Leaf Bag Collection Update

The original end date for leaf bag collection was December 19, 2025. With the recent weather and the volume of leaf bags still curbside, Milford CT City Hall and Public Works are extending leaf bag collection and will continue collecting leaf bags next week.

Crews will be out through the remainder of this week and into next week, working to address remaining areas. Our goal is to have leaf bag collection wrapped up before Christmas, weather permitting.

If you still have leaf bags at the curb, we encourage residents to submit a service request through the City website. These requests help us maintain a running list and ensure no locations are missed as crews work through remaining areas.
