Obituary: Eldrick Thibodeau, 86, of Milford

MILFORD, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Eldrick Thibodeau, age 86, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Virginia Thibodeau (Montgomery), died on Thursday, February 3, 2022with family by his side.

Eldrick was born in St. Francis, ME on October 4th, 1935 to the late David and Elise Thibodeau (Michaud).

Eldrick grew up in Maine and later moved to Milford to raise his family where he worked in Public Works for the city of Milford and also had his own tree removal service.

He loved to play horseshoes, attend church with his wife, have family picnics, and joke with his friends and family. If you knew him well his nicknames were Tippy or Dick.

Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia Thibodeau of Milford, along with 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and seven siblings, Diana, Jackie, Sandra, Linda, George (Ernie), Eldon and Ned. Eldrick is predeceased by his daughters, Sharon and Darlene Thibodeau and two sisters, Amanda and Yvonne.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, February 10th from 4:00 p.m.– 7:00 p.m. in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.

Interment will take place on Thursday, February 17that 11am in Saint Mary Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Foundation.
