Obituary: Elizabeth Classy, 74, of Milford
Elizabeth, a dedicated and devoted mother and grandmother, enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with friends and family.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Elizabeth Classy, 74, of Milford, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2021. Born on September 23, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Gloria Congemi.
Elizabeth enjoyed traveling, going out with friends, visiting her grandchildren, and shopping.
Elizabeth leaves behind her daughter, Nicole (James) Wilhelm; grandchildren, Victoria, James, Nicholas Wilhelm; longtime companion, Victor Zayas; sister, Patty (Kevin) Doheny; brother-in-law, Dennis Gallagher; and nieces and nephews, Meg Sewell, Denise Batsidis, Darrin Gallagher, Michael Gallagher, Kelsey Doheny, and Erin Doheny.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Classy, and sister, Peggy Gallagher.
A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CEMETERY).
At the request of the family, guests are asked to please wear a face mask and socially distance as a safety precaution. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.
