Obituary: Lori Kay Forto, 66, of Milford

Lori, known for her infectious laugh and baking talents, worked at Greco and Haines for many years and cherished spending time with family.

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Lori Kay Forto, 66, of Milford, beloved wife of Anthony Forto, passed away on December 29, 2021. Lori was born on September 15, 1955 in Derby, CT to the late Albert and Ruth Johnson.

Lori and Tony enjoyed 19 wonderful years of marriage but were blessed enough to have been together for 30 years.

Lori worked at Greco and Haines for almost 47 years.

She enjoyed cooking but was also an excellent baker, spoiling her family and friends with her treats. Lori loved the beach and graced those around her with her infectious laugh. She savored spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed evenings out and about.

In addition to her husband, Tony, Lori leaves behind her children, Sean (Chelsea Weck) Robinson and Diane (Scott) Verespie; grandchildren, Skylar and Brooke Robinson, Shane Robinson, and Natalie, Molly and Emily Verespie; brothers, Richard (Wanda) Johnson and Carl Johnson. She was predeceased by her brother Leonard Johnson.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 12 p.m. at St. Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish), 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH).

Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org.
