Obituary: Marilyn A. Schermerhorn, 89, of Milford
Marilyn cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and enjoyed reading and traveling.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Marilyn A. Schermerhorn, 89, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Gilbert Schermerhorn, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022.
Marilyn was born on February 21, 1932 in Mechanicsville, NY to the late Elton and Amelia Laisdell.
Marilyn cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and traveling, her most recent trip being to Alaska with her sisters.
Marilyn leaves behind her children, Dale Schermerhorn, Gay Schlager and her husband David, and Ty Schermerhorn; five grandchildren, three great granddaughters; and siblings, Cheryl Anders, Diana Crosby and Lynn Laisdell and his wife Jeanette.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Schermerhorn.
No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
