Obituary: Mark Kuba, 70, Of Milford
Mark was a devoted husband and father, and his children were the most important part of his life.

Mark Richard Kuba, 70, of Milford, passed away quietly on Thursday morning, Oct. 5, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Lynda McCormick Kuba. He was born in Bridgeport on October 20, 1952, to Theresa Wolski Kuba and the late William Kuba.

Mark worked as a Machinist for 50 years, starting at Moore Tool and retiring from Straton Industries.
He had a talent for fixing things and completing projects around the house. Mark was a devoted husband and father, and his children were the most important part of his life.

Vacationing with his family on his father's boat and chilling on the beach at his aunt's house. No one who met Mark forgot his infectious passion for family and leisure.
Later in life, Mark caught the Mexico bug, and from then on, he spent all of his summers basking in the Mexican sun with friends and family.
Mark embodied the ideals of carefree living, but above all else, the love and passion he had for his four granddaughters was immense, and spending time with them was his favorite pastime.
Mark loved music, and he lived his life like a song. He will forever be loved and missed.

In addition to his wife Lynda and mother Theresa, Mark will be sadly missed by his children: Eric Kuba and his partner Nicole, and Kelly VanArsdale and her husband Mike; his brother Jeffrey Kuba and his wife Barbara; his sister Cheryl Blake and her husband John; and his beautiful granddaughters: Scarlet, Stella, Evie, and Violet.
Visitation will be at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Ave., on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Burial will be at the convenience of Mark’s family.
