Obituary: Mary Miller, 93

Mary was a faithful parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Church in Milford.

Mary Miller, 93, beloved wife of the late Paul Miller, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2023. Born on November 24, 1929, in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Raffaela Creatore.

Mary was a faithful parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Church in Milford for many years and even served as President of their Guild.

Over the years, she enjoyed cooking and hosting Sunday dinners for her family and traveling on various cruises with her husband, Paul. In addition, Mary loved to garden and was a member of the Milford Garden Club for many years.

Mary is survived by her children, Paul (Marilyn) Miller, Jeffrey (Margaret) Miller, Scott (Kelly) Miller, and David (Stacy) Miller; grandchildren, Paul (Meredith) Miller, Holly (Jon) Leone, Rachel (Steve) Santos, Michael (Kate) Miller, Sarah (Ryan) Zayas, Courtney Miller, Scott Miller, Jr., Sydney Miller, Angelica Silvera, Austin Miller, and Tiffany Miller; step-grandchildren, Billy and Bobby; twelve great-grandchildren; lifelong friend, Lois Bunting; as well as many extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Miller and siblings, Ida Caraglio, Josephine Caruso, and Theresa Rapetski.

The family would like to thank the kind staff at Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care of Mary over the years, especially Janice, who had a special bond with Mary.

A Christian burial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church, 325 Oronoque Rd.

Burial will follow at Saint Michael Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave., in Stratford.

The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
