Obituary: Michael Anthony Bakx, 23, of Milford
Michael, a former Foran High School standout wrestler, lived for the moment, loved traveling and spending time with friends and family.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Michael Anthony Bakx, 23 of Milford, beloved son of Jodi and Anthony Bakx entered into heaven on September 25, 2021.
Born in New Haven on January 13, 1998, Michael was a graduate of Foran High School where he was a member of their wrestling team.
Michael lived for the moment, loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. He mastered the art of pulling pranks and making people laugh.
Michael is also survived by his brothers, Cody and David Bakx; grandparents, David Siekierski, Betty Cooper, Jerry Bakx; stepmother, Sarah Bakx; stepbrothers William, Austin and Jordan; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Michael was predeceased by his loving brother Joshua on April 20, 2020 and his maternal grandmother Theresa Bakx.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH).
Burial will be private.
