Obituary: A. Patrick “Pat” Vigilio, 87, of Milford

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) A. Patrick “Pat” Vigilio, 87, of Milford, beloved husband of 45 years to Sandra (Shaw) Vigilio, passed away on September 15, 2021.

orn on January 16, 1934 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Adolph and Lucy (Puglia) Vigilio.

Pat graduated Central High School with the class of 1951 and proudly served his country in the United States National Guard.

He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after 41 years as a manufacturing engineer. Pat was a former member of the Milford Club and a member of the Milford Yacht Club for 37 years.

He enjoyed cooking and travelling and was fortunate enough to have wonderful friends, including “The Gang”- Doreen and John, and Trish and Matt.

In addition to his beloved wife, Sandy, Pat is survived by his cherished daughter, Teri Panzella and her husband, Tom; sister-in-law, Debbie Cramer; many nieces, nephews and extended family; and his special angel, Alyssa, of whom he was the ring bearer at her wedding earlier this year.

All services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT.
