Peter approached everything in life with a high level of vigor. He went at everything in his life with an unstoppable drive and energy, beginning at Jonathan Law High School & Trinidad College (Colorado), where he starred as a tough & tenacious football player; his career in 40 years of manufacturing at Dresser Industries & Sikorsky, his devotion to Catholicism, God and prayer, and through his lifelong love for exercise that carried him through each day. Peter truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures - going to the gym, long walks outdoors, dogs, chess, and sharing a large mozzarella cheese pizza (known only to him as “large Mootz”) from Papa’s Pizza with his family were some of his greatest pleasures.

But above all else, Peter helped spread joy and love with whomever he met. He loved spending time with his four grandchildren, and his presence always brought peace and joy to his young relatives. He was an exemplary father, a loving husband, sacrificed for his family whenever he had the opportunity, and devoted himself to improving the lives of others around him.
