Obituary: Rita G. Scheets, 93, of Milford
Rita was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Rita G. Scheets, 93, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Roderick G. Scheets, passed away on May 20, 2021.
Born on June 2, 1927 in Fulton, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys (Reynolds) Quesnell.
Rita is survived by her children, David (Suzanne) Scheets, Deborah (Tom) Vaught, Michael (Carol) Scheets, Pamela (Tony) Colangelo, Lori (Ed) Seferian, and Mark (Liz) Scheets; her grandchildren, Jason, Nicholas, Chris, Corey, Justin, Brian, Kyle, Amanda, Mark, Stephen and Sylvia; her 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Rita was predeceased by her brothers: Lawrence, Harold and Edward.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery 885 Boston Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06610.
Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT.
