Obituary: Rosann Julia Vinci-Bissonnette, 74, of Milford

Rosann Julia Vinci-Bissonnette, 74, of Milford, beloved wife of Daniel Bissonnette, passed away on September 26, 2023. Born on February 14, 1949 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Angela Raia.
Rosann’s warm heart and giving spirit were evident in her role as a youth leader at Kingdom Life Church, where she inspired and mentored countless young lives. She ran the church bookstore for many years and had an incredible gift for connecting with young people and helping them find their faith.

Among her many passions, Rosann had a talent for cooking and was known for hosting unforgettable holiday gatherings. Her culinary creations brought joy and togetherness to family and friends. She and her husband Daniel shared a love for travel, particularly cruises and camping during the summer months with their children. They created lasting memories together through their shared adventures.
Rosann's generosity knew no bounds. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and was known for giving the shirt off her back to those in need. Her home was an open door to anyone who required a place to stay, and her welcoming spirit made everyone feel like family.

Her dedication to community service extended beyond her church work. Rosann was involved with the Lyons Club, where she served as both Vice President and Treasurer at separate times. Her contributions made a positive impact on the organization and the lives it touched.

Rosann’s journey through life was a testament to her unwavering love, kindness, and commitment to serving her community. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire us all.
Along with her husband, Rosann leaves behind her children, Laurie Bissonnette, Sherry (Robert) LeClair, Angel Croteau, Debbie Vinci-Candleora, Vicki Decker, and Andrea Hasell; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Laura Tremblay, Frank Raia, and Virginia Krumwiede; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is reunited with her late son, Keith Vinci and sister, Marie Nulty.
Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Kingdom Life Christian Church, 1455 Naugatuck Ave., Milford. A Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church that morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosann’s name to the American Cancer Society. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.
