Obituary: Wilson E Blair, 83, of Milford
Wilson worked for DuPont/Fairprene, served as Treasurer of the Milford Stripe Bass Club and volunteered with the Milford Fire Dept.
MILFORD, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Wilson E Blair, age 83 of Milford, beloved husband of the late Mildred Buturla Blair, died on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Wilson was born in New Haven, CT on February 21, 1938, to the late Henry and Edna Blair. Wilson served in the Air National Guard and retired from DuPont/Fairprene.
He served as Treasurer of Milford Stripe Bass Club, spent years as a Milford Softball Umpire and volunteered with the Milford Fire Dept.
Survivors included his children: Chris Blair of Milford, Elizabeth Miller (Roy) of TX, Cheryl Martin (Ken) of FL, Laurie LeLacheur (Rich) of Milford, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers, Warren Blair (Molly) of ME and Reed Blair (Barbara) of Orange.
Wilson is predeceased by his grandson Brian Head. Friends may call on Monday, October 11th from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.
A graveside service will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield at 11:00 a.m.
