Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Car, ID Released: Milford Police
Police said a person, who was running, died from injuries after being struck by a car.
MILFORD, CT— Milford police said Edward Patrick Austin, 49, died after being hit by a car on Friday, April 7, on Boston Post Road.
The collision happened around 4:09 p.m. on Boston Post Road and Meadow Street.
Police said Austin was running north across Boston Post Road when he was hit by the KIA, traveling west on Boston Post Road.
Austin was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with life-threatening injuries and succumbed to his injuries.
