'Potential Threat' Made Against Elementary Schools, Milford Police Say
Police determined that a threat made Friday morning was a hoax.

MILFORD, CT — Police said they have determined that a "potential threat" to Milford schools was a hoax, according to a police statement.
Police notified Milford Public Schools at 8:15 a.m. Friday about a threat to elementary schools which was received via email.
Officers were stationed at all Milford elementary schools while detectives investigated the threat.

Police determined that "this threat was a hoax, originating from overseas," according to the statement.
Police will continue to have a presence at Milford schools throughout the day.
