Rapids Swim Team To Host Milford Clinic

MILFORD, CT — The Rapids Swim Team will host its "Fitter & Faster Swim Clinic" at the end of the month.

The Rapids Swim Team is "one of Connecticut's largest and most successful USA Swim Clubs," according to a statement from the club.

The clinic will run Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 at the McCann Natatorium in Milford. Day 1 will include explosive starts, underwaters, and breakouts. Day 2 will include faster flip turns, open turns, and finishes.

The clinic has two age groups: 9 to 12, and 13 and up.

The lead clinician will be Atiba Wade, an NCAA All-American from the University of Georgia. He will be working with local USA registered swimmers.
