Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Southern Connecticut
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for southern Connecticut. Here's what you need to know.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued both a hazardous weather outlook and a wind advisory for the area.
The wind advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday. "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph expected."
Additionally, precipitation is scheduled to fall Wednesday night and it will be plain rain at the coast, while inland sections may see an inch or two of snow accumulation.

Here are the forecast updates for coastal sections of southern Connecticut via the National Weather Service:
Tonight: Rain, mainly after 9pm. Low around 36. Southwest wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Thursday: Rain likely before 1pm, then a slight chance of flurries. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 26. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 43 mph.

Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
