Special Weather Statement Issued For New Haven/Middlesex/New London County
The special weather statement has just been issued by the National Weather Service.

NEW HAVEN/MIDDLESEX/NEW LONDON COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for the region Tuesday night as locally dense fog could case travel issues.
"Areas of fog may become locally dense early this evening. Motorists should exercise caution and remain alert for rapidly changing visibilities while traveling this evening," the weather service posted Tuesday evening.
Additionally, a flood watch has also been issued for the area from Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night. "One to three inches of rain, with locally higher amounts, is expected."

A 30 percent chance of rain or drizzle before 9pm. Areas of fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 43. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southwest in the evening.
