SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement Tuesday morning, stating that "icy conditions" are possible this morning.

"With temperatures having fallen into the teens and 20s overnight, any residual moisture from yesterday`s snowfall may have froze and created icy conditions, primarily on untreated and sheltered surfaces. Motorists and pedestrians should be prepared for the possibility of slippery conditions and use extra caution if traveling this morning," according to the weather service.

The story on Tuesday will be the bitterly cold wind chill readings, as it will feel like 5 to 15 degrees.
