Strip Club Among 3 Milford Establishments to Have Recent Liquor License Suspensions

They were among 27 businesses who had their liquor licenses suspended between February and April by the state Liquor Control Commission.

MILFORD, CT — Between February and April, 27 Connecticut businesses, including three in Milford, had their liquor licenses suspended, according to information from the Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.

Keeper's Gentlemen's Club in Milford was fined $4,000 and had its license suspended on March 20, 21 for conduct permit premises — improper touching or exposure, according to the state's website. The citations include: conduct of permit premises - display - fondling - mingling.

Costa Azzura Restaurant in Milford has its license suspended on April 26 and paid a fine of $2,250 and state officials noted sanitary conditions there and labels, labeling and registration of brands, according to records. And On the Rocks Spirit Shop in Milford was fined $500 in February and had its liquor license suspended on Feb. 27 for sale to a minor, according to state records. Suspensions around Connecticut range from one to 10 days and fines between $250 and $8,250 were meted out for offenses such as selling liquor to minors, sanitation, minors in barrooms, improper touching or exposure, minor dancer violations and disposing of liquor without a permit.
