Suspected Catalytic Converter Thieves Fled Officers: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — Police continue to investigate after a vehicle suspected to be used in a catalytic converter theft fled officers early Tuesday.

The converter was stolen from Robert Treat Parkway. One suspect was seen with a firearm, police said.

Officers later located the suspected getaway vehicle, but it fled. Officers pursued and attempted to use stop sticks, but the vehicle fled onto the highway.
