Unique, Milford Restaurant Nears Opening 6 Years Later: Report
The highly anticipated restaurant is nearing its opening, which has been six years in the making.
MILFORD, CT — The long-anticipated wait for Fire Engine Pizza Co. to open its newest location at 204 Melba St. appears to be nearing a conclusion.
The Milford Mirror reports that the pizza restaurant is poised to open in early 2023 at the site of the former Melba Street firehouse. The restaurant has been six years in the making, and COVID-19 and other obstacles have popped up over the years.
Currently, the owners operate two locations: 2914 Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport and 768 Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton.

According to their online menu, besides numerous specialty pizzas, there are plenty of salads, sandwiches, entrées and pasta dishes.
