Vehicle Crashes Into Milford House, Injuring Driver And Displacing 4
The house was knocked about a foot off its foundation by the crash.

MILFORD, CT — A driver was injured and a house was significantly damaged after the home was struck by a vehicle Saturday night in Milford, according to authorities.
Emergency personnel received a 911 call around 8:15 p.m. about a vehicle that hit a residence in the 400 block of Pond Point Avenue, authorities said.
The driver was extricated and taken to a hospital, according to the Milford Fire Department, and the vehicle was heavily damaged.

Four people were home at the time of the crash, authorities said. None of the occupants were injured but the house was knocked about a foot off its foundation, forcing the residents to go to a neighbor’s home due to the instability of the structure, according to the department.
Milford's building and health departments also were called to the scene, authorities said.
