Woman Seriously Injured In Motor Vehicle Accident: Milford Police
The driver crashed into a utility pole's guide wire as he made a left turn, police said.
MILFORD, CT — Milford police said a car collided with the guide wire of a utility pole on Wednesday, leaving one person with serious injuries.
Around 11 p.m. William Chalk, 24, was driving west on Bridgeport Avenue and he tried to make a left turn onto Lansdale Avenue when the car veered off the road on the west side of Landsdale Avenue, hitting the guide wire of a utility pole, police said.
The passenger, Ashlee Gillespie, 23, was transported to Bridgeport Hospital, where it was determined she had suffered severe injuries, police said.
