Yale New Haven Plans To Move Some Outpatient Services To Milford

The state has approved the hospital's plans to transfer some outpatient services from New Haven to Milford, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT — State regulators have approved plans for Yale New Haven Hospital to relocate its adult pre-admission testing and pre-surgical evaluation site to Milford, according to The Hartford Business Journal.

An application filed with the state Office of Health Strategy indicates that Yale New Haven would move outpatient services from its 20 York St. building in New Haven to 831 Boston Post Road in Milford, a medical office building with an urgent care center.

This will allow the hospital to expand its Pediatric Emergency Department. The relocation is also intended to create space for the hospital to open a retail pharmacy.
