A player won $1 million on an "Ultimate 7s" ticket that was sold at Colonial Wine and Liquors on Kukas Lane in Waterbury, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners' full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
