Animal control officers are seeking information about an emaciated​ dog recently found in Naugatuck.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Animal control officers are seeking information about an emaciated dog found in Naugatuck late last week.

In a post on social media Thursday, animal control officials said the abnormally thin female dog is roughly a year old and was found on Dec. 28. (The post can be read in full below).

Anyone with information on where the dog came from is asked to contact Naugatuck Animal Control.

She is not available for adoption yet - we will be slowly rehabbing her to a healthy weight and further evaluating to ensure she finds the best forever home!
