Injuries On 4-Month-Old Infant Lead To Father's Arrest: Naugatuck PD
A Naugatuck father accused of injuring his four-month-old infant was arrested this week, according to police.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck father accused of injuring his four-month-old infant was arrested Wednesday, according to police.
In a news release, police said they received information on Aug. 12 from the Connecticut Department of Children and Families about the possible child abuse of a four-month-old infant.
The infant was evaluated at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford and "found to have several unexplained injuries to the ribs, legs and ear," according to police.

After interviewing the infant's parents, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for David Alexander, 31, of Naugatuck, police said.
Alexander was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury. He was held on a $200,000 bond and arraigned in court Thursday, according to police.
