According to her foundation's website:
"After a heroic fight, on May 5, 2008, Kacey passed away in our arms, at home in her bed. There are not proper words to describe our love for her, her bravery and our loss. She was simply an amazing child, not just because she was our child, nor because she was sick. If you had the chance to meet her, you would agree that she was truly unique.

We have decided the best way to honor her memory was to start the Kacey Rose Foundation and help other children to fight pediatric cancers through various channels."
This year's ride starts at Moe's Auto Service at 850 Rubber Ave in Naugatuck and ends at Mr. D's Tavern at 876 Rubber Ave.
The ride, which includes a luncheon, is $30 for riders and $10 for passengers. For those not riding, lunch-only is $30 for adults; $10 for additional family members; and kids under 13 are free.
