Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries in Naugatuck Route 8 Accident

The motorcyclist who lost control of his bike and crashed was the only individual involved in the accident.

Emergency crews responded to Route 8 South between exits 25 and 26 at 5:37 p.m. following a crash that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries Saturday night, the Republican-American reports.

Naugatuck Fire Captain Vincent Healy told the Rep-Am a man driving at high-speed slid along the side of the highway after losing control of his motor bike.

The man, whose name has not bee released, was conscious and alert when emergency responders arrived, the Rep-Am reports.
