Naugatuck Church Heads Up Gazebo Project on Town Green

Christ the King Church in Naugatuck is heading up a fundraising effort to build a spanking new gazebo on the Naugatuck Town Green

NAUGATUCK, CT - Christ the King Church in Naugatuck is heading up a community project that is designed to help beautify our Town Green and invite the entire town to get involved in as well. The community project is entitled “Gazebo on the Green in 2019.”

Plans are being made to raise funds through the remainder of 2018 which will pay for the removal of the old existing Gazebo on the Green and replace it with a brand new one by Memorial Day Weekend of 2019.

A variety of designs for the new Gazebo are being considered, as the committee will be looking for input and direction from the Mayor, Public Works officials, other town officials and the citizens of Naugatuck themselves.

As the fundraising is carried out during 2018, designs and styles of Gazebos for the Green will be introduced. As 2018 comes to an end and the fundraising goal has been reached, the Gazebo 2019 committee will then decide on the appropriate gazebo to be installed on the Green.

Fundraising for this project has already begun and the goal has been set at $20,000. 100% of all funds raised will be spent on the gazebo project.
