Naugatuck High's New Track Still Needs Work

The district still wants repairs made to the damaged track.

Naugatuck, CT - Naugatuck High School's newly built track is still in need of some repairs.

According to a report in The Republican-American,the district's track was damaged by a truck driver back in 2014.

Since the accident, the high school track had $16,238 in repairs done, which were paid for by the trucking company's insurance, the report states.

However, officials aren't happy with the current state of the repaired track, which has a different color and feel. The district is considering a $120K paint job for the new track, according to the report.
