We asked Patch Readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "No sidewalks on Prospect Street."
- "The roads. I'm pretty sure the town owes me a control joint, front wheel barrings, and an alignment (joking...but seriously though, a couple bucks maybe?)"
- "Turning left out of Hazel Avenue"
- "Def the roads!"
- "Drugs have definitely gotten worse, from when I was raising my girls and now with two grandsons, I feel as if it's on every street."
- "A 51 Mill Rate with horrible roads."
- "A borough ran rampant by statist. The trickle down effect gets worse daily."
- "Heroin"
- "As a whole I think we have a lot of issues with how people drive. I see a lot of people driving through red lights, turning left on green when they shouldn't, not using their signals, etc. Simple stuff to fix if everyone could just agree to follow the rules of the road!"
